Newcastle Anxiety Clinic was founded on the principle of providing people with an individualised service of the highest of quality. We have chosen to focus on the treatment of a subset of mental health difficulties so that people can be confident that they are receiving the most appropriate treatment. Our clinicians have extensive experience working with people with anxiety related difficulties and are well trained in some of the best evidence-based therapies for anxiety.
We operate under the assumption that each person is different, with a set of unique experiences, challenges, and coping styles. By taking this view, our clinicians ensure that they take the time to understand a person’s current circumstances as well as their individual history. We appreciate that although two people may present with quite similar symptoms, the underlying processes may be quite different. Our experience allows us to be well-versed in these different processes, and our training in different therapeutic modalities allows us to strategically match treatment strategies to these underlying factors.
